The Project

This project is a carefully executed balance of precision construction and crafted detail, delivered within a complex rural setting. The home’s composition of multiple volumes required a high level of coordination to ensure clean junctions, consistent material expression and seamless transitions between built form and landscape.

The external envelope combines dark masonry and standing seam metal cladding, both requiring exacting installation to achieve the crisp lines and refined finish evident across the project. Particular attention was given to alignment, detailing and durability, ensuring the home will perform over time in its exposed environment.

Internally, the construction celebrates structure and material honesty. The installation of reclaimed timber beams demanded careful integration within the new build, balancing structural requirements with the desired aesthetic outcome. These elements were coordinated with steel framing and glazing systems to maintain clarity and precision throughout the spaces.

Large-format glazing and the central living pavilion required careful sequencing and installation, particularly around the feature fireplace, which acts as both a structural and spatial anchor within the home.

Externally, the integration of landscaping, courtyards and outdoor living areas was critical to the success of the project. Close collaboration between builder, architect and landscape ensured that thresholds, levels and material transitions were resolved with consistency and intent.

The result is a highly resolved home, crafted with care, built with precision, and designed to endure.
