This 7000sqm factory compromises of a contemporary warehouse, showroom and office for Austex Industrial Fabrics.
The Project
The design for this project encompasses three distinct areas – the massive storage warehouse, a public showroom and the office headquarters of Austex’s operations in Thomastown. The industrial warehouse required a specialist approach to the challenges of storing heavy materials, resulting in a 1-metre deep soil excavation / compaction and bespoke structural reinforcements in the floor to ensure the functional longevity of the building.
